INFILTRATIONS
 

Sometimes the hip or knee joint begins to wear out gradually, with loss of joint cartilage. Thanks to the least advances in regenerative medicine, this deterioration can be stopped and the symptoms even improved:

• We have excellent quality and high molecular weight hyaluronic acid infiltrations. The infiltration can be done guided by ultrasound in the office or by image intensifier in the operating room. In either case the patient walks.
   
• Another great advance has been the injection of BTI or platelet-enriched plasma. The technique consists of extracting a small amount of blood and processing it in a centrifuge machine until a cell concentrate with a high regenerative capacity is obtained. The method of infiltration is the same as that of Hyaluronic Acid.
